About the Item
A Vintage Louis Féraud Pearl Necklace. Baroque inspired pearls punctuated with jewelled stations. Each station set with fancy cut crystals in ruby red and black finished with a row of tiny chatons. A perfectly timeless piece that oozes sophistication and elegance.
The couture House of Louis Féraud was originally founded in Cannes, France in 1950 with his Parisian House following in 1955. Jewels, both costume and fine, were made to compliment the ready-to-wear and haute couture apparel over the decades. Féraud personally attended to the design and workmanship required to create his jewellery, he had a fondness for mixing wonderful fabric textures with baroque jewels. Partnering with jewellery makers across Paris and in later years Germany his jewels were an integral and thoughtful element of his collections.
Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear.
