1.75cttw Diamond Necklace, 17 inches, 46 grams. This necklace is crafted from 14kt yellow gold and features an impressive total weight of 52.00 carats in natural rubies. It is accented with 50 round brilliant diamonds, which total 1.75 cttw. Additionally, the necklace showcases 49 natural oval-shaped rubies that have been polished and cut to a very good standard. These rubies display an intense red color and have undergone treatment for filling, though this treatment is not visible to the naked eye. The diamonds have an H-I color grade and SI1-SI2 clarity and a nice cut.
This necklace provides the luxurious appearance of large red rubies at an affordable price—similar pieces without the filling treatment usually sell for around $30,000 or more. The weight of the diamonds and gold alone adds considerable value, making this a fantastic offering.
The necklace features a basket-style setting and measures 17 inches in length. It is equipped with a push-in clasp as well as a figure-8 security clasp. The piece is stamped with "14kt" to indicate its gold content and weighs 46 grams. The larger rubies measure approximately 9 x 7 mm, while the smaller rubies measure about 4 x 3 mm. Very minor natural surface inclusions are present in the rubies.
This piece comes with a formal written appraisal by a GIA graduate gemologist to verify its authenticity. Overall, this necklace is a stunning showpiece that offers exceptional value.
