About the Item
Angela Caputi created this somptuous resin choker necklace in Italy, circa the early 1990s. The rare around-the-neck shape features important asymmetric acrylic resin beads in transparent olive green, accented with crystal-clear rhinestones in various shapes. Her color choices are always bold and extremely classy.
As you know, Caputi jewelry is not signed. This is a pre-owned necklace, but it retains the original early signature snap-closing clasp in silvered metal, all paved with crystal rhinestones that have made the brand's reputation.
Angela Caputi has been producing resin and Lucite jewelry collections in Florence, Italy, since the 1980s. Some of her pieces are at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
