About the Item
A Belle Epoque crystal, diamond and pearl chocker necklace, the rectangular frosted rock crystal panel applied with rose-cut diamond-set gardening design depicting a crossed rake and spade with a potted shrub, flanked with four small pearls, all made in platinum and yellow gold, bearing French control mark circa 1910, to a velvet chocker necklace with later white gold fittings, the panel measuring approximately 3 x 1.5cm, the necklace measuring approximately 36cm, gross weight 11g.
This antique necklace is in very good condition for its age.
A gorgeous Belle Epoque French choker necklace. This necklace features a lovely rock crystal plaque, on which is set an array of sparkling diamond-set gardening accessories. To the centre of the scene is a potted flower set with four lustrous pearls. The plaque is presented on an adjustable black velvet ribbon, which provides a perfect contrast to the elegant design of the necklace’s centrepiece. This beautiful antique piece comes from the collection of Bentley
