Very Special Necklace

Designed and Handmade by John Iversen
Handmade 18 karat Yellow Gold with a satin hand applied finish and Cultured pearls.
Necklace measures 16 1/2 ” with a 2 1/4 ” extender .
The extender has one White Cultured Pearl measuring 5.00 m.m.
Necklace consists of 17 graduated links in the “Jacks” design.
Links measure 3/4 ” (20.00mm.) graduating to 1″ in the center
There are 136 White Cultured Pearls on the links measuring 6.45 m.m. to 4.00 m.m. each.
The pearls are Round , Very Good Luster , Pinkish , lightly blemished and Excellent in Matching.
Stamped on necklace tag ” John Iversen 18kt ”
Necklace weigh total 95.74 grams.

John Iversen
Jewelry designer John Iversen has had a lifelong attraction to nature, which is apparent in his work.
Iversen's beautifully fluid, organic jewelry is expressed through the use of leaves, flowers, pebbles, baskets, seeds and water. “Jewelry has its own emotional experience — a very basic, primitive instinct,” he says.
Trained in Germany, Iversen migrated to New York in 1978. His pieces are included in permanent collections of many museums both in the United States and in Europe.
