We are proud to introduce a magnificent authentic antique necklace, a true celebration of timeless elegance and exquisite craftsmanship.
Dating back to the 1910s, this elegant piece features three rows of certified natural saltwater pearls, softly graduated in size and glowing with a creamy-white lustre. The pearls range from approximately 2.9mm at the clasp to 3.6mm at the front, creating a beautiful drape that flows naturally around the neck.
The necklace is centred around a true masterpiece - an intricate platinum plaque, masterfully set with a dazzling cluster of old cut diamonds arranged in delicate floral and leaf motifs. At the plaque's heart lies a luminous button pearl, accented by two large rub-over set old mine cut diamonds, one on either side. The centrepiece is further adorned with two additional round/button pearls placed horizontally at its ends, each encircled by elegant old cut diamond halos. From below, a single 6.1 × 8mm drop shaped pearl gently suspends, dancing shyly with every movement.
Bringing the strands together, four diamond set floral spacers add subtle sparkle along the length of the piece and a sense of harmony to the design.
The oval clasp showcases a delicate pierced motif, which complements the necklace's overall aesthetic. It is set with old cut diamonds and a trio of button pearls, making the back of the necklace just as beautiful as the front.
Together, the diamonds have a total combined weight of approximately 3.50ct.
From the lustrous natural pearls that glow delicately against the striking brilliance of the old cut diamonds to the finely crafted platinum setting, every detail of this necklace tells a story of artistry and grace, reflecting the unparalleled craftsmanship of its era.
Finally, the piece measures 14 inches in length and has a gross weight of 28.05 grams. Tested and confirmed as platinum.
