About the Item
This massive 18K yellow gold Mid-20th Century choker necklace is mounted with six large and intricately hand carved and pierced, jadeite jade panels. Each piece exhibits vibrant green tones, and the affect is beyond striking. The center panel is equipped with a "flip down" hidden bale so that a pendant can be suspended for additional eye appeal. The center panel measures 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/16 inches wide. The surrounding five panels measure 1 1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide. Total length of the necklace is 16 inches. The reverse side of the clasp is stamped TRIO, for the maker and 750, designating 18K gold. Gross weight 118.50 grams.
