A Victorian diamond necklace in silver and yellow gold.
A striking necklace set in the era’s recognizable silver-on-gold setting.
This mid nineteenth century necklace is formed of thirteen diamond drop motifs which sit above the collarbone for an elegant choker length. The diamonds set in this piece are old European and rose cut, the hand cutting of every single jewel means that they give a pleasing constant sparkle once worn on the neck.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 7.90 carats. These are estimated to range from H-I in colour with VS2-SI2 clarity. The necklace measures 15.5 inches in length and is finished with a beautiful safety clasp set with three Old European cut diamonds.
