Vintage Carolee Faux Pearl Choker With Diamante circa 1980s

A exceptional four-strand Baroque yellow pearl choker with an octagonal jeweled-and-gold plate medallion clasp. Twenty six brilliant clear crystal stones surround the centerpiece of green poured Gripoix Paris Glass surmounted by a red Gripoix Paris Glass cabochon, ringed by an intricate gold-plated laurel wreath. The medallion clasp is gloriously attached to the pearl strands by rectangular "baguettes" each with six clear crystal stones. Vintage 1980s. Stamped 'CHANEL, MADE IN FRANCE' on the back of medallion. Length is 15.25 inches overall. The octagonal medallion measures 1.50 inches H. x 1.50 inches W. This exquisite Chanel choker can be worn with the medallion facing front and center, or in back on the nape of the neck.
