About the Item
Vintage Gold Tone with Faux Pearls and Turquoise Choker Circa 1950s. This chic, small two-strand necklace is anchored with a small 3D flower in the front that features three layers. The top layer has a small amount of gold and a few diamantes. It should be worn snugly against the neck, and it looks extraordinary. It isn't large but makes such an impact. On the back of the necklace is a small cage that houses it, reminiscent of very early Haskell designs. The two pieces that hold the hooks are marked 'Japan'. It's possible that they provided the faux pearls or components of the piece. I'm not sure, but considering the piece's age, which I estimate to be from the 1940s to 1950s, the faux pearls are in really great shape.

These pieces are becoming increasingly rare to find, and this one represents the era exceptionally well.
