A fabulous vintage handcrafted silver bib choker necklace, most likely originating from Rajasthan, India, showcasing traditional regional jewelry craftsmanship. The necklace features a series of articulated front panels, each set with green foil-backed mirror glass cabochons framed by a finely worked silver beaded border. The lower edge is accented with ball-beaded silver dangles, adding movement and visual richness.
The reverse is fitted with a woven silver chain and finished with a simple S-hook clasp, consistent with traditional Indian construction. The piece is unmarked and has been acid tested to confirm at least 800 silver.
Bold in scale and substantial in weight, this necklace presents as a striking example of vintage ethnic silver jewelry, retaining its authentic aged character and strong decorative presence.
