A statement Vintage Crystal Riviere Necklace from the 2000s yet inspired by centuries old design from the Georgian era.
Rivière refers to a river of gems around the wearers neck. Both romantic and lavish. The Rivière necklace first became popular during the Georgian period of the 1700s. Since then, this style of necklace has been redesigned and updated many times owing to its elegant and timeless appeal. Rivières are experiencing a renaissance where the stacking of Rivière necklaces is the much-copied hallmark of celebs including fashion icon Anna Wintour.
Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear.
Materials: Rhodium or silver plated metal, glass crystal
Fastening: Lobster clasp and extender chain
