This Custom Designed and Crafted, One of a Kind Statement Necklace by Artisan Tom Castor features a large Winged Scarab as the center piece of this High Design Castor Neck piece. A Unique blend of skilled Egyptian Revival and Contemporary Statement Art. The Necklace was Designed to house and showcase an important Large Natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. This rare, Natural gem hails from the closed Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona U.S.A. The stone has a substantial weight of 16.58 Carats with a measurement of 23mm wide, 17mm high and a Cabochon dome of 6.5mm at its deepest point. This highly desirable piece of Natural Turquoise is both important for its origin and quality of color. The Robin's Egg Blue is clean throughout the stone with no blemishes. Set within the Scarab itself are a total of twenty-two Blue Sapphire Cabochons of 1.50 Carats combined weight and one Princess Cut deep Orange Yellow Sapphire of 2.5mm x 2.5mm and 0.12 Carat. The Hand Engraved Scarab measures 2 1/4" wide by 2" in height. The Scarab is entirely crafted in 18 Karat Yellow Gold with Hand Textured Detail. The center piece is attached to a Hand Made, Large link Chain of 18 Karat Textured Yellow Gold and 18 Karat White Gold finished to a High Polish. The Heavy Chain and Necklace are a total of 20" long. The large Lobster Claw clasp allows the Necklace to be adjustable to any length by attaching the clasp to various links. This Amazing Piece is a Special addition to the true Jewelry Collector. The Necklace is entirely crafted in 18 Karat Gold with a total, metal weight of over 25 Dwts 18K in the Scarab alone. The entire Necklace measures 20" in length and is adjustable.
