Isn't this fabulous, just like a smooth pebble except this one is 18k yellow gold set with diamonds and it's by Taffin. A great style for any age, a little bit funky and also very collectible. The lovely smooth pebble is crafted in high polish 18k gold and set with 47 white diamonds with an estimated weight of 2.50cts. Each diamond is hammer set into the gold and what's interesting about this piece is the diamonds are set on both sides of the pendant, so there is no front or back, and to show the true craftsmanship the diamonds have also been set around the curve of the pebble - quite an interesting feature and certainly not easy to do. The pebble is signed on one side with the characteristic signature of Taffin. This hangs from a brown silk cord with yellow gold ends and findings. Stamped 750 on clasp. Total weight of the pebble is 14.50 grams. Measurements of the pebble - Length - 1.40 inches/3.55cm (including bale) width - 0.877 inches/2.22cm Length of cord - 16 inches/40cm Total weight of entire piece - 20 grams Condition Report - Very good condition, some light scratches to the high polish pebble but in keeping with the age and could be lightly polished.
