The pierced decorated setting is composed of ten white gold asymmetrical triangular links, graduating in size and curving inwards towards the centre of the design. The links are ornamented with a total of forty-six impressive individually claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The impressive necklace displays a feature cultured pearl drop suspended from an impressive further transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond to the centre of the design. The articulated 14" elongated double trace chain secures to the reverse with a cylindrical clasp. This vintage diamond necklace with pearl drop has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This fine and impressive single strand pearl necklace consists of one hundred and twelve individually knotted cultured pearls graduating in size (2mm-6mm), the largest being in the center. This fine matinee length pearl necklace (circa 1960)secures to the reverse with an antique (circa 1900) 9k white gold push fit clasp crafted in the form of a pierced decorated, subtle quatrefoil design. The clasp is ornamented with millegrain decorated borders and a combination of seven Old European cut and eight-cut diamonds.
