Victorian large festoon necklace with Bohemian red garnets. This is a fabulous and rare antique festoon Bohemian necklace created in England during the late Victorian era, back in the 1880's. The outstanding necklace is pretty impressive in size and was masterfully crafted in gilt metal. It is composed by nineteen links and five dangle drops elements, which are embellished with a fabulous assortment of three hundred-ninety-eight natural intense red garnets. These rose and cabochons cut garnet stones were a Victorian favorite, often used in late-era jewelry designs. The necklace length is little over the sixteen inches and is fitted with a concealed security push box.
