About the Item
A stunning vintage Chimento Multi-Gem Necklace set with Citrine, Tanzanite, Amethyst and Peridot Flowers and Gems in 18 Karat Yellow Gold. The effect of Chimento's gorgeous gold work with the wonderful gems creates a magical necklace! The necklace features a radiant faceted pear shaped citrine of the most gorgeous color and cut. Above this is an emerald cut amethyst of vivid color. Above this are two flowers of citrine and amethyst. On the chain are two further flowers, one is citrine with a tanzanite center, the other is tanzanite with a peridot center. A very rare vintage Chimento masterpiece.
The clasp is hallmarked with all the Chimento marks including Chimento, a star and 408 VI, 750 for 18 Karat gold, mod dep, and sunburst hallmark.
The necklace is 17 inches (43.5 cm) long.
The pendant portion is 2 1/2 inches (73 mm) long.
The pear shaped citrine is 20 mm by 14 mm. The floral medallions are 15 mm in diameter.
The necklace weighs 25.8 grams.
