Retro modernism necklace with Rhodochrosite. Wonderful retro-modernist necklace, created around the 1970's in the northern region of Europe, most probably in Germany or the Netherlands. This colorful and elegant piece has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish, Fitted with a push boxed security lock and a hinged figure 8 for extra safety. Embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones. Diamonds: Mount with 19 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.48 carats, white colorless F color, VS-1 Clarity. Gemstones: Mount with seven round cabochon cuts (17 x 17 x 9 mm) of natural and translucent vivid pink rhodochrosite, with a combined weight of 175.77 carats.
