Lovely and elegant Victorian Onyx Tear Drop Collar from the late 19th Century. Lovely graduated onyx drops fall from small gold deccorated half spheres off a chain of onyx and 18k gold beads. Beautiful quality with self onyx clasp.
There are some very tiny chips to bottoms of 3 or 4 drops ,but, this is almost impossible to notice when worn. A remarkable survival considering the delicacy of the onyx points. 1870's UK. 18k gold and onyx.
Excellent overall condition. 14.5" x 1.5" deep.
