About the Item
Miriam Haskell Early Wrap Clip Lariat of faux coral and emerald pate de verre beads with gilt floral stations on each end. Each clip station is decorated with a large cabochon and enamel leaves from the late 1930's.
These lovely lariats have clip fittings on the ends, which were originally designed to be attached to dress necklines in different configurations. Often the lariat was criss crossed at the neck onto a strapless or low cut bodice.
The necklace can be worn today with the "clip" motifs as pendants, one side can be clipped if desired or both can be left free as a necklace.
