Stunning and very unique, custom made ladies 18 karat white gold 50.88 carat bi-color watermelon tourmaline and diamond 18 karat white gold necklace features 15 Brazilian bi-color emerald cut watermelon tourmalines in various sizes, perfectly matched in color. Five bi-color tourmalines dangle from the center with jagged diamond accents. The diamond necklace features stations of watermelon tourmalines surrounded by halos of diamonds and diamonds, set side by side on the chain. To find this many watermelon tourmalines that match is nearly impossible. The tourmalines go from pink to a lighter pink and then to a beautiful chartreuse green. This is mother natures beauty at its' absolute finest. This necklace will take your breath away! The design of this necklace is avant-garde and is one of a kind.
15 emerald cut bi-color watermelon tourmalines from Brazil, vary in size and have a combined total weight of 40.88 carats. Brazil is famous for its gem-quality watermelon tourmalines, with amazingly clear and vibrant colors. Watermelon tourmaline is the rarest form of elbaite tourmaline found in nature. Like all tourmaline varieties, it forms when magma is forcefully injected into hardened granite. As the hot viscous solution begins to cool, crystals form which cause the gem to change color from a darker pink through a pale pink zone to the green rind.
563 round brilliant diamonds, vary in size, and have a combined total weight of approximately 10 carats. Diamonds are VS clarity and G color.
Necklace measures 18" in length and can be adjusted down to 16" in length by removing the adustable 2" matching necklace extension in the back. Necklace features a tongue and box closure with safety latches on both sides for added security.
Necklace is hallmarked 18K and 750 for 18 karat gold.
