Geometric necklace designed by Orlando Orlandini.
Fabulous vintage wire-necklace, created in Arezzo by the Italian designer Orlando Orlandini, back in the 1970. This beautiful and rare piece has been crafted as a modernist sculpture in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. The sculptural necklace is composed by three elements such as: the tubular wire, the rectangular connector and the dangle asymmetric concave circled pendant. The connector element is embellished with applications of vivid blue glass enamel and the wire is fitted with an unusual volumetric security lock which looks is floating and reinforce the geometric art composition of the necklace.
Weight: 71.60 Grams, (45.97 Dwt).
Size: The wire diameter is 16.50 Inches (42 Cm).
Measurements: The dangle decorative pendant is 133 mm by 80 mm (5.25 x 3.15 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with Italian marks; the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver, the designer's name and signed, "O. D. ORLANDINI 1AR* UNO A ERRE .925".
Collateral: This necklace is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
