About the Item
Rare and important Chanel Maison Gripoix Flower Parure referred to as "Bijoux de Fleurs" when first shown in in 1938 and illustrated in Harpers Bazaar in the same year. Our example was reintroduced by Karl Lagerfeld 60 years later. Composed of articulated, graduated floral links with matching ear clips in rose pink and emerald poured Gripoix glass set in handmade gilt bronze frames. Extraordinary hand made collectors piece.
Excellent Condition, Signed and possibly one of a kind, given by Lagerfeld to an important fashion editor in the period.
