This is a gorgeous and rare antique Moonstone and Garnet Flower Pendant in 14 Karat Rose and Yellow Gold. The stunning jewel is an antique pendant dating to the Mid-Century Modern period. It is in the style of the Cartier and Tiffany flower jewels. The flower pendant is a very special example. The rare flower motif jewel is 14 Karat Rose and Yellow Gold. It has four exquisite three-dimensional Moonstone cabochon petals with a stunning round faceted red Garnet center. The moonstones have beautiful iridescence with fabulous blue hue. At the top is a gorgeous pentagonal 5 sided fancy cut Bohemian Garnet. This is a special jewel and the 5 sided cut is extremely rare and wonderful. The combination of the blue iridescence of the moonstones with the garnets and the rose gold is absolutely exquisite. The pendant is signed with a makers mark which appears to be V
B and 14K.
The Moonstone and Garnet Flower has wonderful Retro Mid-Century Modern Design with clean yet festive lines. I love the joy of the flower jewels and this beautiful piece radiates such joyful spirit. Wear it everyday or at the most glamorous affair.
