A gorgeous Victorian necklace. This delicate piece features a chain set with lustrous seed pearls culminating in floral cluster and vine leaf decorations. The flowers and leaves are all set with further pearls, which provide a lovely complement to the yellow gold. This lovely antique piece comes from the collection of Bentley

A late Victorian pearl, diamond and gold necklace, consists of seven graduated from the centre flower heads, each with an old cut diamond surrounded by six pearl-set petals, the flowerheads between eight pearl set bars with lily-of-the-valley motifs, connected with seven pearl-set festoons, and suspended by a pearl-set chain, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.9 carats, all mounted in yellow gold with box clasp, circa 1900, unmarked, tested as 14ct gold, measuring 37 x 2.8cm, gross weight 29.7 grams, accompanied by fitted case.
