About the Item
A string made in 18K gold made on the hindu concept of amalgamation of nine precious gemstones with natural full cut diamond and uncut diamond slices.
The necklace is set with top quality Mozambique rubies at the centre, followed by natural blue sapphires, yellow sapphire, emeralds, coral, cultured pearls, cats eye and at end hessonite garnet.
Each stone is spaced in between by natural diamond polkis and full cut diamonds, with end of the chain having an extension to help determine the length as per the wearer convenience.
Navratna is a combination of nine gemstones corresponding to the planets recognised by hindu astrological system- Sun (ruby), Moon (pearl), Mercury (emerald), Mars (Coral), Jupiter (Topaz), Venus (diamond), Saturn (Sapphire) and the ascending and descending nodes of the moon (Cat's eye and hessonite)- these are worn for their beneficial effect on the human body. All gemstones are kept open at the back to maximise their effect on the human body.
