About the Item

Fabulous gold plated original Art Deco necklace, bracelet, brooch and earrings set. The set features channel set rhinestones and mother of pearl. It is probably German, but is not stamped. There is wear to the gold plating. The necklace measures length approximately 40 cm / 15.75 inches, plus an extension of 5.5 cm / 2.1 inches, and width 1.3 cm / .5 inches. The rhinestones and mother of pearl are separated by metal beads, to create the curve to go around the neck. The spring bolt clasp works, but needs a bit of coaxing to close properly. We have not replaced the clasp as it is the original. The bracelet measures length 18 cm / 7 inches by width 1.25 cm / .5 inch. It has a push in clasp and safety catch. The brooch measures length 5.2 cm / 2 inches by width 1.3 cm / .5 inch. The earrings measure length 1.3 cm / .5 inch by width 1.2 cm / .47 inch. They are clip on earrings. All the pieces are displayed in what could be the original box. This is a beautiful high quality set from the 1930s. A rare find.
