Circa 1890s, 18k, attributed Swiss. This sublime necklace melds Art, mysticism, and science. Set with bright chrysoprase and diamonds (.50cttw, H, SI1-2), this one-of-a-kind piece is meticulously hand-fabricated in 18k yellow gold. Of particular note is the exceptional, finely peened surface. The look is Arts and Crafts meets Art Nouveau. Brilliantly handmade, it is in excellent condition.
