An Italian sterling silver and enamel box necklace with Regency design scene, circa late-19th century, Italy. Wear and carry one's pills (or other items) around neck in this beautiful 19th century Italian sterling silver and enamel box with enamel Regency design scene, scalloped edge, link chain, gold wash inside, finished with a detailed design on back. Marked 'Made in Italy' on inside as shown in last image. Overall length is 25" long, with box measuring .32" Height x 2.88" Width x 2.63" Depth.
