Mexican modernist geometric squares necklace.
This is a beautiful geometric modernist necklace created in the city of Taxco in Mexico, back in the 1970's. This substantial and bold necklace has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. The design is composed by the simplicity of geometric squares links, three of them embellished with three carvings of black onyx. The necklace is completely flexible and is fitted with a concealed security push box.
Weight: 97.95 Grams, (62.80 Dwt).
Length: 18 Inches, (45.72 Cm).
Measurements: The widest part in the center is 15 mm (0.59 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with Mexican 1970 marks; the mark of the manufacturing town T, the maker's mark P, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .925/.999 sterling silver and signed as follow, "MEXICO TP-69 .925".
Collateral: This Mexican modernist necklace is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Mexican modernist necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.
