About the Item

Michael Zobel Aquamarine necklace accented with large 18K gold and silver elements finished with a matching invisible clasp. The clasp is signed Zobel, 1995. It also bears Zobel's number. On the male portion of the clasp is the mark 750 for 18K. The necklace weighs 227 grams. This very modern necklace is 17 inches in length, and has an approximately 700-900 cts. of Aquamarine. Michael Zobel has an international following for his very unusual pieces of jewelry that he calls "small works of art". His pieces are sought after and in many major jewelry collections of celebrities and fashion leaders. He excels in modernist unique designs working in different metals with fine stones. All items sold are accompanied by a detailed appraisal by our gemologist, as well as all original GIA certificates, if specified in listing. As always, we guarantee all of pieces. Each piece of jewelry arrives in a finely gift-wrapped presentation box. We have made every attempt to photograph our jewelry with the proper lighting conditions to display our pieces as they are in real life. However no amount of effort on our end can give the reader realistic colors if the receiving system is imprecise. For realism in color, "It takes two to tango". We have also photographed our pieces on different colors to give our viewers as much information needed to make a good decision. If questions arise that we have not addressed here, please do not hesitate to contact us. Unless stated otherwise, or stated exactly; all weights and grades are approximated by our Gemologist using both GIA Instruments as well as instruments used as a standard and accepted practice. Also, all metals are approximated within 1%. This allows for the legal tolerance in the jewelry industry. For example, 14K signifies 58.3% gold, jewelers can legally label a piece as 14K as long as it is above 13K, or 54.2%.
