The silver is marked 925 = Sterling
Niels Eric From, 23 years old, was a trained silversmith. He opened his shop in 1931, and for the next 40 years his floral-inspired pieces highlighted the Danish arts and crafts era. The metal work is simple, supple and flexible. Many of his works have indistinct details of oxidation, metal carved, surface etching. From's designs are masterful examples of his ability to achieve unique detail and intricate fluidity in simple forms.
