Now a banned material, Antique tortoise shell jewelry has become very collectable. This gorgeous tortoise shell necklace from the Victorian era (ca1880s) is particularly beautiful! Comprised of interlocking circular links, this necklace is both sleek and stylish. The smooth tortoise shell links display a dark brownish-black hue, and the piece secures with a simple hook clasp. A highly unique necklace, this piece would blend seamlessly into modern-day fashion!
Measurements: The necklace measures 21" long. Each circular link has a diameter of approximately 1".
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there are no apparent chips in the tortoise shell links, all of which are intact and free of any chips or damages. The hook clasp is secure and in working order.
