A Vintage Joseff of Hollywood Demi Parure. A rare find, dating to the 1940s and created by the jeweller, Joseff of Hollywood. 'Joseff' was first and foremost a 'Jeweller to the Stars'. Joseff created pieces for Hollywood actors and actresses; including pieces worn by the stars in many famous Hollywood movies, think Shirley Temple in The Little Princess, Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind and Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra. The desire to emulate celebrity led to Joseff's broader success. This demi-parure is an exceptional creation. Featuring intricate metalwork in his signature brushed gold finish adorned with lustrous pearls and beautifully faceted paste stones. A stunning combination and true piece of wearable art that carries a famed legacy of over seventy years.
