About the Item
Unique and extravagant necklace and matching bracelet in 18 K yellow Gold and leather. Paul Binder was a well known goldsmith and famous for his modernist and superbly designed creations and for his meticulously fabrication. Paul Binder was renowned as the finest Swiss goldsmith of his generation. A real statement piece from the 1960s!
Paul Binder opened his first shop in Winterthur, Switzerland, then in 1974, opened a shop in Zurich on Storchengasse 4. He is predominantly known for his sleek, modernist aesthetic and expert goldsmithing skills, often detailing his work with diamonds and unusual materials such as wood, horn , acryl etc. . He is considered one of the most influential goldsmith in Switzerland with his characteristic avantgarde style.
The necklace can be worn in 2 different lengths, the shorter version with a length of ca. 40 cm and the longer version with a length of ca. 74 cm.
Dimensions of the citrine in the necklace: 3.50 cm x 2.80 cm .
Length of the bracelet: very short, only 12 cm.
Dimension of the citrine in the bracelet: 2.70cm x 2.10 cm.
