About the Item
Very elegant and delicate necklace made out of 18 karat gold around 1870 in the neo archeological style. Fine fox tail chains alternate with coral beads and round gold disks reminiscent of targets. The disks, the larger one as centrepiece of the necklace and two smaler ones to either side are decorated with large coral boutons. More fox tail chains are suspended like garlands from the top row of gold chains. Every point of connection is accentuated by an articulated orient pearl with either a gold tassel or a coral drop. The gold chains are extraodinarily smooth.
The diameter of the largest gold disc measures 1.7 cm, The length of the largest pearl and coral drop measures 2.6 cm.
