Love this piece! An utterley spellbinding statement Etruscan style Freirich gilt necklace. Dating to the 1960s. Featuring intricate detailing to the long metalwork chain and also the rather grandiose plaque pendant and cascading tassels. This beauty packs in the workmanship and really makes a one of a kind statement. The chain alone measures approx. 56cm long and the stunning pendant a further approx. 14cm long from the top of the pendant to the bottom of the longest tassel. Freirich was a French costume jewellery company established by Solomon Freirich in the 1920s, in business until the 1990s. Freirich also produced buttons for many fashion designers, including Chanel and Dior. An amazing piece of 1930s-40s drama! Would look divine layered over a top or worn alone with a plunge front.
