About the Item
This stunning Angela Caputi, made-in-Italy resin choker necklace features a multi-strand design with a dominant black color contrasted with lemon-yellow carved beads. Geometric motifs and translucent faceted beads add to the appeal of the black resin seed beads. Her color matching is always extremely classy, perfect for casual or fancy occasions.
As you know, Caputi jewelry is not signed. This is a pre-owned necklace without its plastic branded tag, but the piece has the brand's signature snap-closing clasp.
Angela Caputi has produced resin and lucite jewelry collections in Florence, Italy, since the 1980s. Some of her pieces are at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
Please note that this is likely an early Caputi piece since the snap-closing clasp is spray-painted yellow. The later versions of her creations all have a black closing clasp.
The necklace is in good condition, with some discoloration on the yellow beads and some abrasion on the yellow paint on the edges of the closing clasp. Check the close-up.
