This beautiful 19th-century necklace is composed of six strands of natural red coral (Corallium Rubrum), featuring barrel-shaped beads strung on red thread. The coral is of fine quality, displaying a rich and vibrant hue, characteristic of this prized Mediterranean variety.
The necklace is completed with a substantial clasp in 18 karat yellow gold, masterfully crafted in intricate filigree and cannetille work. The clasp is further enhanced with a delicate floral engraving on its closure, highlighting the exceptional attention to detail and artistry typical of Dutch goldsmithing of the period.
