About the Item
This dark green two-strand nephrite jade necklace is from Early 20th century. The necklace consists of 78 nephrite mottled jade stones. The jade strands are strung with these beautiful round beads, and to keep some nice space between the beads, the green thread is knotted in between. The gold plated 925 sterling silver closure is beautiful engraved and the chain links keeps the clasp and strands together. The jade has a beautiful dark translucent mottled color.
This necklace is in very good condition and defined as quality A. The diameter of the beads is approximately 9.0 mm and the length of the necklace is 49 centimeters. The jade necklace has a nice heavy weight of 126.5 grams.
