About the Item
The Hudson Court Art Nouveau swag necklace dates to the early 1900s and is adorned with a swirling central plaque and stations of pastel peach coral and natural seed pearls. Also known as a festoon bib necklace, this authentic antique treasure oozes charm and elegance. The style with plaques or motifs connected with multiple swagged chains arranged in rows are called en esclavage. The chains varied as to the style of the link and the length of the swag.
