About the Item
A late Victorian pearl, diamond and gold necklace, consists of seven graduated from the centre flower heads, each with an old cut diamond surrounded by six pearl-set petals, the flowerheads between eight pearl set bars with lily-of-the-valley motifs, connected with seven pearl-set festoons, and suspended by a pearl-set chain, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.9 carats, all mounted in yellow gold with box clasp, circa 1900, unmarked, tested as 14ct gold, measuring 37 x 2.8cm, gross weight 29.7 grams, accompanied by fitted case.
A graceful late Victorian diamond and pearl necklace. This delicate piece features a chain set with lustrous seed pearls. The flowers themselves are set with pearls, which provide a lovely complement to the yellow gold. This lovely antique piece comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III and would be an elegant addition to a formal outfit.
This antique necklace is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 14ct gold.
