About the Item
Victorian natural pearl necklace with a gorgeous clasp. Features three strands of natural pearls culminating with a diamond clasp set in platinum and yellow gold. The pearls come with a certificate from Gemological Certification Services London UK stating that they are saltwater natural pearls. Initially, the necklace was submitted to the gemological laboratory with a ruby and diamond clasp which was later replaced with the current diamond clasp (please refer to the pictures). The clasp is made of platinum and 14 karat yellow gold and set with seventeen Old European cut diamonds (total weight approximately 1.54 carats).
The pearls are of cream color and graduating from 7.89 mm in the middle to 2.81 mm at the clasp. There are 422 pearls and three of them are cultured (see the report).
The necklace is 24.5 inches (33 cm) long and weighs 48.7 grams.The clasp measures 5/8 x 1/2 inch (1.7 x 1.3 cm).
