About the Item
Authentic original Victorian 14k handmade granulated top gold pendant locket. The front is set with a beautiful hand carved Carnelian hardstone Cameo of a helmeted solider. Original frames backing and glass. The carving is signed Mears and with Symbols I do not know the meaning of, and inverted "V" followed by what looks like ZEDG then PV. The chain is original handmade green gold as well. Circa1850 to1860.
