Indulge in this gorgeous Victorian - Art Deco Amethyst Cross Pendant Necklace in 10 Karat Gold set with 12 stunning round faceted natural mined Amethyst gems. The gold cross is 2 1/2 inches tall. It has a fabulous design set throughout with gorgeous natural round faceted amethysts. The gems are all set "a Jour", open backed, so as to let the maximum amount of light through. This magnificent jewel dates to the Victorian to Art Deco period. Crosses are all the rage today and this long cross set with Amethysts is a fabulous treasure. The lovely 10 Karat Gold work with its twisting design is wonderful. The amethysts are all set in cut down collets which give them added sparkle.
The cross is a treasure to be worn and to be passed on for generations.
The cross is 2 1/2 inches (63mm) tall including the bale and is 1 5/16 inches (33mm) wide.
The amethyst set portion is 7mm wide.
