The miniature painting is set in a 14 karat gold ornate oval frame with diamond-cut details. The painting is signed by the master artist, CR Charlotte and includes a coordinating bail. The pendant measures 40mm high (including bail) x 23.6mm wide. Marked with a sticker on the back on each pendant is "An Authentic Hand Painting 1977 Polynesian Artifacts". Stamped on the back of the bail is 14K. Included in the sale is a certificate of authenticity stating the painting was completed on January 21, 1983. The pendant is numbered #0679.
