About the Item
This is a gorgeous 14K yellow gold signature shepherd's hook, a fastener that is great for closing chains or for hanging charms. The design was inspired by Victorian hooks used for watch chains. The hook has some beautiful repeating details of scrolling swirls, curling lines and organic motifs. The hook looks great with charms or can hang alone on a chain. It has a swivel top where the bale is so it has nice functionality. This is a unique design available only through Kirsten's corner.
The hook measures 1-1/2 inches in length by 1/2 inch wide. It has details on both the front and back. It is made of solid 14 karat yellow gold. It is not marked but tests to such. The hook weighs 3.55 grams. There is a lot of versatility and beauty to this simple piece. The hook on the piece turns inward very snuggly so that no charms can fall out; this design secures charms extremely well. Shown here is the hook on a necklace with a charms. This gives you an idea of how versatile this hook can be- we have many necklaces and charms in the store should you wish to buy additional jewelry for the shepherd's hook.
