About the Item
This 18K gold pendant is set with nine auspicious planetary gems (navratna) with a natural round ruby cabachon at the centre surrounded with - clockwise from top - diamond polki, pearl, coral, Hessonite garnet, blue sapphire, cat's eye, Yellow Sapphire and emerald.
The gems are set with kundan setting an age old indian traditional technique and the pendant is hand crafted with rich red and green enamel at the back which is done by etching gold at the back.
The combination of nine planetary gemstones is a powerful hindu functioning said to shield against the harmful effect of planetary influences.
The colour stones are all natural, the pendant comes with a hinge at the top which can be used easily to strung the pendant according the the wearer's choice, or the string can be added by us on a special request.
