This set of 18 karat yellow gold blue topaz citrine baguette and diamond circular pendant / brooch and earrings is inspired by the jewels worn by Cleopatra in the Egyptian Era, giving it a contemporary make-over. The pastel shades of blue topaz and citrine captures the mood of a glorious sunset over the ocean! Meticulous hand-picked selections of blue topaz and citrine gemstones out of many are set individually from dark to light complimented by pave set diamonds.
The encompassing formidable and notable taper baguette-cut gemstones are invisibly set in the channel with a small and bigger taper baguette identically cut throughout the channel to create the bigger arc look. This setting technique is a breakthrough in the jewelry realm. The taper baguette cuts are perfected through silver mold dye created to equally and progressively cut the gemstones with the help of the right artisans and cutters. It’s an effectively time-consuming and elaborate process that looks simple but is very complex and revolutionary. All the stones are meticulously hand-picked out of many gemstones, taper cut by our expert lapidary artist by hand and then channel set to perfection in the arch shape, enhancing the fire in each gemstone. The pave-set round diamonds in the piece amplify the sheen and vividness of the color stones. The variable width of the circular shape from broad to thin as going upwards shows the imminent detailing of this masterpiece. It’s the overall appeal of the pieces that makes it an all-time wear for any occasion or event.

To execute a unique vision of blending European culture and the essence of Jaipur, it has taken Vaibhav six years of dedicated and single-minded effort to master the technique of cutting the baguettes into tapered shapes and channel setting them to create patterns from dark to light. It’s a work of art and also a feat of engineering. All his jewels are contemporary yet extremely wearable and bring out the vibrant colors of India.
