For sale is this wonderful Victorian 18 Karat dainty solid yellow gold photo locket covered with marvellous decorations. The front is set with a small but beautiful seed pearls and two pinkish red rubies. Fine handmade engravings are the finishing touches, making them look like detailled flowers with pearl set leafs as top decoration. This beauty is fully equipped with all the attributes to keep two photo's safe. Two small gold frames will hold the pictures of your loved ones in place.
This antique pendant was most likely made in France or Belgium during the late 19th century. In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period. Because of this, a locket like this one, is a traditionally loving gift to love, honour and remember a loved one. This locket ensures you that you are able to carry your loved once close to your heart.
This dainty locket is in good condition considering its age. It has a few small dents on the back and front, as clearly visible in the pictures and short movie.
